GHPRD Hiring Parks Manager

Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District is accepting applications for a Parks Manager position. This position is a working/supervisory position and is responsible for the overall maintenance of Parks within the Park District. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, lawn, turf and landscape maintenance, facility maintenance and general park maintenance. This position also includes supervising Seasonal and Full Time Staff, creating and maintaining records and reports such as Time Sheets, Performance Evaluations and Property Inspections.

Parks Manager shall possess a combination of education and experience equal to a Degree in a related field; two years supervisory experience and, be able to accomplish the goals of the Park District in a professional and workmanlike manner and according to the established standards. A valid driver's license is required and the Park District is a Drug Free Work Place.

Salary is based on experience and education. Upon satisfactory completion of a 90 day probationary period successful candidate will then receive benefits. All employees are expected to meet and maintain Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District standards for job performance and behavior.
